Librarian
Contact: Mel Forbes 0417 104197
The library consists of books, instructional DVDs, and a number of magazine collections. The articles in the magazines have been indexed, and each of the entries in those indexes is in turn cross-indexed to related skill areas.
There is also a catalogue of library books and DVDs.
You are welcome to download the key-subject indexes attached to this page.
Borrowing from the Library
All members are encouraged to browse, research and borrow materials from our library. It is there to be used! To borrow any publication or audio-visual material please follow the following steps.
1. Note the name and number of your loan material in the Library Loan Book with your name and your group ID e.g. John Smith Wed. Day Turners.
2. Return your book etc. within 4 weeks and sign it off in the Library Loan Book.
3. If you feel you will need it longer please consider photocopying the relevant pages so the publication is available for others.
4. When you return any publication please try to return it to its right place. If you feel uncertain about this please leave your publication in the new publications box and I will be put back for you.
Contributing to the Library
Our Library is only as good as it is because of the donations made by individual members. All donations are appreciated and welcomed. The more books and other materials we have the better we can cater for the needs of our members and their developing skills. We want our library to be the best it can be.
Any magazines are welcome no matter how old as we do have gaps in some of our collection. Your magazine may be the one we need. We sometimes need to replace well used materials, and your contribution may help.
Please leave any contributions in the box for materials to be catalogued, to be found near the Index Folders; or ring Mel Forbes on 0417 104197 to make special arrangements. Don’t put them away with other items, because they need to be recorded and labelled.
Our Library does have limited space, and only in exceptional cases will we store duplicate copies of anything. Duplicates, or items judged to be extraneous to our needs, will be offered to members via the “free” box. Please be understanding if an item you donated ends up being given away.
